In 2004, four friends and vignerons in beautiful Tramonti along the picturesque Amalfi Coast (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) joined forces, pooling together their pre-phylloxera plantings of ancient varieties along with their expertise. Led by Gaetano Bove, the former president of the local cooperative, Tenuta San Francesco was born: a project with the singular purpose of delivering wines to the world that could be produced nowhere else. Their stunning flagship white blend of local varieties Falanghina, Biancolella, and Pepella grown on Tramonti’s unique red clay and volcanic ash soils is vibrant, humming with life, and succulent. It shows tones of exotic citrus, mouth-watering peach, white tea, and sage.

Pair it with a nice caprese salad, other fresh cheeses, white fish, and steamed mussels.
