This is a unique concept indeed. For Terre Méttisée, growers from four unique terroirs blend seven unique varieties from southern France for a truly individual expression. Malbec from Cahors (its birthplace), is blended with the rarely seen varieties Braucol and Negrette from Gaillac and Fronton respectively. Then, that wine is blended with a classic Roussillon red made from Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvedre. In essence, it’s Atlantic meets Mediterranean in a very palpable way: warm and rich, velvety and seductive with notes of chocolate-dipped cherries, rum spice, and juicy, purple-fleshed plums. A touch off-dry and undeniably tasty!
Serve with duck, barbecue, nuts and cheeses, or even chocolate-based dessert
